Will it fit my car?

Is it actually waterproof?

Completely. The top is heavy-duty 600D Oxford with a fully waterproof backing, so mud, rain, wet fur, drool and accidents never reach your seats. Wipe it down after a muddy walk, or pull the liner off and put it in the machine.
Can I fold it up if someone needs to sit there?

Yes, this is the bit most covers get wrong. Unclip one side and the Snoozie folds flat against the seat back in about ten seconds, so a passenger can sit down normally. No tools, and you don't have to re-install it afterwards.
Do I still need a seatbelt or harness?

Yes. The Snoozie is a bed, not a restraint. It stops them sliding around and gives them a solid surface to settle on, but it should be used alongside a proper harness clipped to the seatbelt. In the UK, Highway Code Rule 57 requires dogs to be suitably restrained; in the US the rules vary by state. Worth checking what applies where you drive.
What if my dog just won't use it?

Is it legal to drive with my dog in the back like this?

Driving with a completely unrestrained dog is a bigger issue than most owners realise. In the UK, Highway Code Rule 57 requires dogs to be suitably restrained so they can't distract you or be thrown forward in a stop. In the US it varies. Some states have specific laws and many more can treat a loose pet as distracted driving. The Snoozie gives them a stable, contained place to travel, but it is a bed, not a restraint: use it with a proper harness clipped to the seatbelt, and check the rules where you drive.

The Snoozie has a solid base underneath. They get a flat, stable surface, which is why dogs actually settle on it instead of standing the whole way.
What size dog does it take?

It comfortably fits everything from a small terrier to a large retriever, and the base is rated to 280 lb / 127 kg, so weight isn't the limit. Two medium dogs travel side by side fine. If you've got a giant breed or want one dog beside a child seat, the Snoozie Mini half-width version is the one you want.
Will it slide around while I'm driving?

No. It anchors at four points, both front and rear headrests, and the underside is a non-slip grip layer that holds against the seat fabric. Once it's in, it stays put through corners, braking and a dog jumping in and out.
Can I wash it?

Yes. The removable top liner is fully machine washable at 30°C. That's the layer that takes the mud and the hair. The base wipes clean with a damp cloth. Spare liners are available so you can always have a clean one on while the other's in the wash.
What if my dog won't use it?

You get 60 nights to find out. Most dogs settle on it within a trip or two. The solid base is unfamiliar for about five minutes and then it's the best seat in the car. If yours never takes to it, send it back for a full refund. You don't need to give us a reason.
